The Corporate Facilities Specialist oversees maintenance, compliance, sustainability efforts, and overall facility management for the corporate campus. Manages vendor partner relationships and performance. Conducts inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance while recommending improvements to remain compliant with health and safety regulations and aligned with sustainability efforts.

Responsibility

Facility Management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of corporate facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained workspace and campus.
• Building maintenance and upkeep
• Leaf and debris removal
• Maintaining irrigation systems
• Pathway and sidewalk upkeep
• Waste management
• Snow and ice removal
• Maintain and repair a range of facilities equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety systems, A/V technology, and access control systems)
• Perform preventative maintenance: conduct regular inspections and checkups to prevent equipment failures
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers for facility-related services.
• Coordinate and execute office space modifications and reconfigurations as needed.

 

Health and Safety Compliance
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular inspections and implementing necessary improvements.

Vendor Management
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Procure and manage office supplies, furniture, and other facility-related assets.

 

Sustainability Initiatives
• Implement and support corporate sustainability initiatives related to facilities management.
• Identify opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of facility operations.

 

Qualifications

Experience and Education
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in a technical field
• Proven experience in corporate facilities management.

 

Knowledge and Skills
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Environment and Working Conditions
• In office 5 days/week Monday-Friday
• Standing, walking, climbing stairs
• May need to move equipment, furniture, or supplies, potentially requiring moderate to heavy lifting
• Performing repairs, maintenance tasks, or inspecting equipment that will require flexible movement
• Potential for on-call work; may be expected to be available outside of regular hours for emergencies or critical issues

•Must have a valid driver's license
