This individual will manage Mail Service Center and Document Management Service Departments. Negotiates price rates. Chooses carriers and vendors. Oversees the purchase of equipment for Cracker Barrel and CBRL Group in order to keep with the latest technology while maintaining efficient mail and print costs. Prepares and works within yearly budget.

Responsibility

• Manages daily operations of the Mail Service Center in the receiving, sorting, and distributing of inter-company mail, mail from United State Post Office, UPS, Federal Express and etc. Ensures that mail is prepared for shipment and that pick-up and delivery schedules are met. Monitors customer satisfaction and implements improvements as necessary. Reviews and approves reports and billings.
• Manages daily operations of the Document Management Services in the printing, binding, laminating, shrink-wrapping, etc. of projects. Ensures that schedules are met, equipment is operational, and cost is kept to a minimum. Monitors customer satisfaction and implements improvements as necessary. Reviews and approves reports and billings.
• Evaluates and revises new procedures, develops new forms, reviews current workloads, new equipment and technology. Establishes priorities, determines ability to meet future commitments. Approves reports and operational cost.
• Analyzes and assists in resolution of work problems, motivates workers to achieve work goals, and initiates personnel actions such as pay raises, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
• Manages and coordinates activities of Department 50 forms, envelopes, stationary, and Security Deposit Bags. Approves billings and maintains inventory.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

• High School diploma.

• 5 years supervisory position in Printing Environment - Document Management (80%) and Mail Services (20%)

• Knowledge of meter machine and UPS WorldShip
• Knowledge of PrintShop equipment – Ricoh Graphic Arts 9210 with Plockmatic inline finishing; Fiery Rip, interfacing with MIS PrintSmith software, utilizing digital storefront software
• Experience with wide format printers and finishing processes; signs, displays, etc.
• Knowledge of digital multi-functional equipment – Cannon campus fleet printers
• Knowledge of finishing equipment – Challenge cutters; Duplo score cut & trim; laminator
• Knowledge of postal requirements
