Overview

The Regional Facility Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the conditions of properties, buildings and equipment in their assigned territory. Operations is Facility Services” primary customer and this position is expected to foster a strong, supportive, and responsive relationship with key leaders in their territory. The position is responsible for the planning, and execution of Cracker Barrel’s facility maintenance expense, maintenance capital, and preventative maintenance programs to keep the stores to brand standard and meet the department’s mission statement and strategies.

Responsibility

• Ensure capital and R&M projects are completed on time, on budget and with a strong service approach and communication to key stakeholders

• Manage all Facilities projects and expenses according to Cracker Barrel procedures, using and leveraging systems and platforms, to keep stakeholders apprised of the status of work.
• Manage and comply with all platforms used by Cracker Barrel
• Acts as the liaison between Facilities, Construction and Operations, providing support and technical expertise to coordinate projects and resolve R&M issues and capital projects
• Identifies and manages the execution of capital maintenance work in the stores.
• Responsible for managing and staying within maintenance and capital budgets
• Acts as subject matter expert on repair and maintenance issues escalated by store management; trouble shoots and analyzes issues, determines potential and actual financial and business impact, takes action to minimize impact; perform repair/ replace analytics and decision making for building, kitchen equipment, and building systems.
• Provide analytics on expense and capital spend to determine trends and outliers; compare trends against benchmarks and determine and implement corrective action. In conjunction with operations, develop yearly expense and capital budgets.
• Perform vender management to ensure all stores have sufficient qualified venders to support the facility strategy, develop and execute training modules for operational team and vendors.

 

Qualifications

Experience and Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management plus 4-6 years Construction or Facility Services Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in using work flow systems, platforms, ticketing systems
• Travel is required

• Strong written and oral communication including negotiating skills.
• Computer skills.
• Organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Strong analytical and decision making skills.
• General knowledge of maintenance equipment and materials.
• Thorough knowledge of construction terminology, materials, blueprints, and techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems.
